-A thru  -Z Alpha note codes used in SIS to show EMCC staff which Biology lecture and lab sections go together for student registration purposes. We were using the note codes in the alpha range A. thru Z. but on 3/23/06 changed to the range A thru Z (example: "-A" lecture goes with "-A" lab).
+A AMAS (Achievement in Math and Science),  MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement), Title V Students, and ACE (Achieving a College Education)

Bilingual Class: This is a bilingual (Spanish/English) class. Completion of ESL (English as a Second Language) Level IV courses is recommended before taking this class.

EV HYBRD COURSE This code used at EMCC beginning Spring 2004 (20042) Site EV means Estrella Virtual. Hybrid - Any combination of In Person and Distance Learning Modes of Instruction (Print Based, Internet and/or Mixed Media).
EV INTER NET

This code used at EMCC beginning Spring 2004 (20042) for all Online Classes and SIS OE/OE distinction also removed. Site EV means Estrella Virtual.  Internet - Mode of instruction is distance learning with classes delivered on-line. Students may be required to come to campus to take a proctored final exam. Before Spring 2004 these courses were known as self-paced.
