Please use the worksheet (coursefeeFY09-10) to submit the proposed changes or new course fees to EMC Business Office:  Course Fees Worksheet Form for Fall 2011

There are two main EMCC course fee submittal cycles:

1) January to EMC Business Office> for March Governing Board> effective for July 1 (Summer II & Fall)

2) August to EMC Business Office> for September Governing Board> effective for January (Spring & Summer I)

Guidelines for New or Changed Course Fees

After the elimination of the AZ State Board in July 2002, the threshold of $25.00 is no longer applicable--meaning we would go to the MCCCD Governing Board with any new or adjusted course fees.

The District-wide process for proposing course fees involves having a list of any new/adjusted course fees submitted through the appropriate Vice President/Dean to the EMCC College Business Services office and ultimately to the District for approval by the Governing Board by December. The option of obtaining mid year Board approval for any pertinent new/adjusted course fees is still available, through submitting to the appropriate Vice President/Dean, although discouraged to be used routinely.

The Maricopa District's Adopted Tuition & Fees by Fiscal Year (schedules here that go back to FY1998-9) and where Course Fees are listed by each college within each document is at www.maricopa.edu/business/budget/tuitionfees.htm
