Additional information about the SIS Class Notes Table report:

Notes numbers 0001 to 0099 are District-wide class notes.

Notes numbers 1000-1099 are class notes designated to Estrella Mountain Community College.

Notes numbers 5000-5099 are class notes designated to Non Credit classes.

When class notes are added to a class they stay attached when the classes are rolled (copy of Fall06 classes rolls to Fall07 semester) until the class scheduler removes the note.

There is also another place available where we can add notes to each class called the Free Format Text field.  Use this field for notes that have more details, or for notes that could change each semester.

Even if Class Not in Schedule check box- This check box will remain unselected. There is no functionality at this time.

Note Nbr- Enter a preexisting Note Number of the class note you would like to attach to the class, or click the search button to look up a preexisting Note Number for your institution.

Copy Note- Click to copy note text from the Note Nbr text field to the free format text, and deselect the Note Nbr field.  The note can then be modified to accommodate the class section.

Free Format Text- Enter or edit to accommodate the class section.
