3.  First graded homework assignment worth 25 points!  Write a sentence that contains 7 different parts of speech.  It must have at least 3 nouns, 1 verb, 3 adjectives (1 before each noun), 1 adverb, 1 preposition, 1 pronoun, and 1 conjunction.  One of the nouns or pronoun must function as the subject, another must function as the direct object of the verb, and the third must function as the object of the preposition.  You must label the words to explain what part of speech and what function they have, and illustrate the sentence.  Thanks to Leticia and her teacher friend for the wonderful idea and example!  Click here to see their example.  This assignment is due Tuesday, February 5.
