2.  Review using past tense to describe good/bad events.

Week 14
Tues. 11/25 - No class Thursday, 11/17.  The college is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In class, students will:
1.  Review using simple past and past progressive to describe problems and accidents.

2.  Listen and reply to 2 other students' stories on the voice board.  You can ask the students a question or make a comment (5 points for each reply)

1.  Finish Written Homework 1  - Complete the all pages of the 4-page handout that Diane gave you in class Tuesday to practice what you learned in Unit 1 pages 2-7 of the textbook.  Give the papers to Diane on Tuesday, 9/9.

 		In class, students will:
1.  Continue Unit 1 in the textbook (pages 3-5) - practicing speaking about the past and future.
2.  Discuss pronunciation of past tense regular verbs.  Click here for a handout on pronunciation rules.
For homework, students need to:
1.  Start Written Homework 1  (10 points) -  Complete the first 3 pages of the 4-page handout that Diane gave you in class Tuesday to practice what you learned in Unit 1 pages 2-5 of the textbook.  Don't do the 4th page of the handout yet.  After we practice the conversations on pages 6-7 in class on Thursday, then you can do that 4th page.  Diane will take all 4 pages from you on Tuesday, 9/9.
