2.  On a separate piece of paper, write a list of 10 pairs of sentences (= 20 sentences total) in the future about what you or people you know are going to do this weekend.  Use a variety of  affirmative and negative sentences and a mix of am/is/are going to & will.  This assignment is worth 20 points.

For example

1.  I am going to wash my clothes on Sunday.  I am not going to wash my car.

2.  My husband is going to play poker at a club on Saturday afternoon.  He isn't going to stay home.

3.  My cats are going to watch birds from the window.  They aren't going to go outside to chase the birds.

4.  I will call my mother on Saturday morning.  I won't call my sister.

5.  My neighbor will take her children to the park this weekend.  Her husband won't go because he must work.
