We'll discuss the simple present and the present progressive with nonaction verbs on pages 108-111 in the texbook.

3.  In the workbook, do Practice 13-15 on pages 56-57.

In class Monday, 11/1: 
We'll continue discussing the simple present and the present progressive on pages 102-107 in the texbook.

1.  On a separate piece of paper, write the conversations for each picture in Exercise 22 on page 108 in the textbook.

2.  In the textbook, do Exercise 23 on pages 108-109.

3.  In the workbook, do Practice 9-12 on pages 55-56.

Please do exercises on pages 92-106 in the textbook and pages 51-54 in the workbook.

3.  Practice using the correct simple present subject-verb forms of the verb Be (am, is, are)

For homework, students will:
1.  In the textbook, do Exercises 3 and 4  on pages 2 and 3 .

2.  Write 6 sentences to answer Exercise 5 on page 4 in the textbook.  Write the sentences on a separate piece of paper to give to Diane on Wednesday.
3. In the workbook, do Practice 1, 2, and 3  on pages 1 and 2 .
