Monday, we'll read the story on page 74 of the textbook, and then
complete the questions on page 75 and write 4-5 sentences on the lines
provided at the bottom of page 75 about your own experiences and
feelings after you came to the United States for the first time. Then
we'll read the story on page 17 about the first days at a new school,
and you'll share your own experiences. For Graded Homework #9 titled "First Days", please write two paragraphs about your feelings on two different first days: the first few days you were in the United States and the first day you attended school in the United States. What did you do? What did you see? What did you think or feel about what you saw? Did anything surprise, confuse, excite, or disappoint you?
