EASIS Plus MCCCD Welcome Letter December 7, 2004 Welcome to the Early Access Student Information System (EASIS) Plus database! EASIS Plus is a copy of the System Setup & Design (SSD) database currently being built by the SIS Project Team with converted Maricopa student data, which has been established to allow employees the earliest possible access to the new Student Information System (SIS). In order to receive an EASIS Plus account the following must be completed: 1. Verify your desktop configuration and browser settings. For assistance, contact your college helpdesk. 2. Complete the FERPA tutorial. 3. The College SIS Security Administrator at your site will receive notification you have completed the FERPA tutorial and will issue your username and password for EASIS Plus. There are additional items which will help in navigating EASIS Plus: · For directions on system logon, system navigation, etc., review the informative tutorial, Introduction to the Student Information System. · Current system functionality is documented in the EASIS Plus Release Notes which is located under the EASIS Plus link.. · Under the Training link on the web site, Training Guides are available to learn more about the new system. If assistance is required during this early phase, several sources are available. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) on the web site may answer functionality questions; the Web Learning Assistant (WLA) and PeopleBooks may help answer systematic questions by selecting the Help link available on each page throughout the system (NOTE: “Search” pages do not contain help links; navigate to the actual page and then select Help). Please remember, there are limitations to the system since the database is under development. If further assistance is required, contact your CIT Manager or the “help” process established at your college. |
