EASIS Plus Version 2 and Connect-Maricopa Links
Monday, November 08, 2004
Here is an easier way to get into EASIS plus and the Crystal Enterprise reporting. The District SIS Team have created a new "Links" page which will allow you navigate to the following features more easily:
The URL is: http://www.maricopa.edu/nss/links/
Crystal Enterprise
EASIS users should have access to Crystal enterprise and EASIS PLus reports later this week.
EASIS Plus link and your Enterprise ID allows you access to EASIS Plus as an SIS user- remember, with this, you are not allowed to change your own data.....just like it will be in production....
Connect Maricopa (Portal access)
The "Test" Student accounts have been created so you can "see" what a currently enrolled student would see and do via Student Self Serve. The Student Name, SSN, and Birth Date have been altered, but this is a copy of "real" data, so please treat it as such. We will contact each CIT Project Manager with the student information, and the assigned password.
When accessing Connect Maricopa,
It assumes you are a GUEST and, as such, only GUEST features are available (View catalogue and View Class Schedule near the bottom of the page).
To get to Student Self Service features, use the STUDENT Login we will provide at the CIT meeting.
The available Features on the Student Self Service pages are listed in the Scope document as:
View Catalogue, View Class schedule.(anyone can do that)
For the students' accounts the following are useful items:
View My class schedule, Grades, Enroll/Drop (you will need to update the student residency page then select courses which are available for add/drop in the Fall 2004 term)
The unavailable features at this time are:
Learner Services Admissions area - currently is not setup for MCCD with the SIF form, etc.
Faculty Self Serve - all
Personal Portfolio - Some features are blocked by security, others are not (Bio Demo changes for example).
Crystal Enterprise access to EASIS PL users - should be available later this week.
Several of the Unavailable features are blocked by security others and are not. These areas have not been setup and you may get strange results or errors, or it may allow you to change data which you do not believe should be allowed. Again those areas have not been completely setup and are out of scope for this version of EASIS Plus. If you get to an area where it says "You are not authorized..." Press OK then use the BACK button on your browser to return to prior Page.
People Books
This links you to the supplied Peoplesoft Online documentation. (From within EASIS Plus you have access to this PLUS the Maricopa documentation as of this date)
