inspire.teach is a 2+2+2 program.  The first 2 represents juniors and seniors at the high school level, the middle 2 represents two years at Estrella Mountain Community College, and the last 2 represents the final two years at ASU West.  The programs structure insures a smooth transition from high school to the community college and from the community college to the university thereby increasing the likelihood for success.

inspire.teach encourages and prepares students to choose and excel in the teaching profession.  There is a strong commitment to inspire students from underrepresented groups to explore teaching careers and to increase the number of diverse professionals within Arizonas education work force.

There are many benefits for students in the inspire.teach program:

  • Acceptance into ASU West College of Education (with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher and completion of ATP Degree)

  • Internships for practical experience

  • Networking opportunities

  • Support services
